- Give it some air-time after every walk, ie. remove and hang up the harness indoors and away from direct sunlight.
- Hand wash in water below 40 degrees celsius. Very mild detergent may be used, however ensure you rinse the harness properly. Hand wash the harness just as you would hand wash any delicate clothing. Wash gently and squeeze out excess water. If the harness is particularly dirty or grimy, consider soaking it longer before squeezing out excess water.
- Dry flat on a towel or hang them by their original shape (when buckled) on a coat hanger. This will ensure that folds don’t occur whilst they dry leading to weak spots in the material. Under no circumstances should your harness be tumble dried. Extreme heat will melt the fabric, leaving you a mess (and possibly some tears!)
