Not only will you save on clean up time, your fur baby will also thank you for it and you (and your fur baby) will be happy to leave this bowl out on display all day long. A Monte & Co favourite that will continue to be many pets’ favourite.

Due to overwhelming demand from offline customers, the majority of these long-eared bowl pieces have already been bought up by our loyal cohort of private customers. We have, however, held back a few bowl pieces and are making these available for purchase by waitlist/online customers.

About the Maker:

Handcrafted in Australia by Sophia Thompson, a talented ceramic artist who runs her own pottery school in Melbourne.

Additional Notes:

These unique long-eared dog bowls have been specifically designed and thoughtfully hand crafted by local designer Sophia Thompson. They are not only meant to be a practical piece for your pet, but a beautiful object to add to your home. Each piece is individual in all of its entirety, and no piece is the same as the next, meaning you are beholding something special and individual to you and your dog.

Due to the nature of throwing by hand on the wheel, each piece will vary slightly in size, and you will find beautiful throwing lines on the inside of each bowl, a nice detail which shows the makers mark. The bowls have been glazed in a high-fire stoneware glaze, which creates an incredibly strong finish on the bowls, and will protect them from any leaks or stains. As a result of this high fire glaze, they are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe. The bases have been sanded to leave a buttery finish, that is soft to the touch, and won’t scratch floors.

Due to the bespoke glaze formula, and the porcelaneous pigments used, you will find each piece has beautiful glaze marks that highlight the handcrafted nature, and show off the unique character of each form. These markings will vary, and are a detail to be individually enjoyed, as they further speak to the handmade beauty of these designs.
